I forgot to tell you...

A man was going down a street in Chicago when in a store window he saw a very beautiful picture of the crucifixion. As he gazed, spellbound at the vividly pictured story, he suddenly became conscious that at his side stood a street child. The boy, too, was gazing at the picture and his tense expression made the man realize that “The Crucifixion” had really gripped the eager little soul. Touching the boy on the shoulder, the man said, “Sonny, what does it mean?”

“Doncha know?” his face full of marvel at the man’s ignorance. “That there is Jesus, an’ them other is Roman soldiers, an’ the woman that’s cryin’ is His mother, an’- they killed ‘im!”

The man was loath to leave the window, but he could not tarry longer at such a tragic scene, so he turned away and walked down the street. In a few moments he heard pattering footsteps, and there came rushing up the little street child.

Say minster,” he exclaimed breathlessly, “I forgot to tell you, but....

HE'S ALIVE! HE ROSE AGAIN!”
